Hard time in getting project paper done

I was having hard time to get my project paper done. I was so confused with my research. I've spent most of my time reading and digesting large amount of articles, journals and policy documents, yet nothing come into my mind. My mind was blank.

No guidance from my academic supervisor although I have approached him for more than five times. I should say he failed to give me any guidance and advice. His only advice, "read, read, read ...".

To make an appointment with him, I must give him a phone call. Whenever, I went to meet him, he reacts as if he was super busy. He would try to get rid of me within 10 minutes. So, what sort of consultation do you think I can get from him? I was left alone to struggle with my project paper.

When I submitted my first draft, his negative remark was 'poor English' and asked me to seek "native English speaker" to correct my English. Some Australian don't even know how to write a correct grammar, what more to say English is my third language? Of course, to fulfill his requirement, I email my work to few of my friends who are good in English.

Do you know which group of people he come from? He is Australian and 'ang moh'. If people tell me that most 'ang moh' lecturers are kind, generous, helpful and will help their students, I can assure you that not most 'ang moh' lecturers are good and capable. Some of them are not capable as well. They don't even teach and often left students in the darkness. So, my conclusion, not all 'ang moh' lecturers are capable and good people. They can be the devil as well.

So, wish me luck although I won't and I can't expect any high grade from this project paper. After more than a month of struggling, I finally get it done. I've tried my best. At last, I freed myself from all the works. What I should say? Give myself a big congratulations!

Diving and Snorkling

Fully equipped with snokerling equipments ...

It's me ...

I never know how to swim. But, I did snorkeling and diving when I was in Cairns. I never like sea. This was my very first time to have an hour long of sea bathing. The main reason: just to see the beautiful coral reefs in Cairns!

Night View in Melbourne

Night view in Melbourne is fabulous and surrounded with lighting in the city. Of course, you need to pay to access to Eureka Skydeck. Is it worth seeing? I should say it is very much depend on your preference and interest. And, I do think you need a good camera to capture the beautiful mode of night view.

St. Kilda Beach

Nothing really special about St. Kilda beach. I actually got disappointed when I went there. The coastal isn't that great and I do think there are other better places for sightseeing in Melbourne.

Philip Island

Sunset at Philip Island

Penguin Parade - one of the world heritage

on the way to the beach

model of penguins

I can't see the tiny penguins when I was in Philip Island because I forgot to bring my glasses. The peguins are so tiny and they only come out from the sea during dawn. It is about thousand of them - that's why it is called penguin parade. I really having trouble in trying to find where were the tiny penguins except listened to my friends who were so excited to keep on yelling (with low volume) and pointing at the location where the little penguins came out from the sea. Of course, I still can't really know where were the penguins. What more to say without my glasses, everything become so blur.... Poor me!

Mount Dandenong

Live advertisement!

I don't know how to describe this mountain, but it is a nice place for sightseeing, which is quite far from Melbourne city. For me, it is worth visiting if you like nature.

Hot Bread

I only knew "hot bread" from this shop

My friend, Vera asked me to buy hot bread for our breakfast. I do not know what is hot bread mean although she had explained to me. The only thing I did, I looked for the shop labelled with "Hot Bread". I even insisted with the shop owner that I was looking for the hot bread. The shop owner told me that hot bread is just a name for the bread. So, next time, if your friend ask you to look for hot bread, just go for any shop that sell the France type of bread and make sure there are few mixture of ingredients!

Internship Program

Staffs in TTF

During my internship period, I have the opportunity to mix with all the Australian. However, I can be a very introverted person. As a result, I seldom make any effort to talk to them. Rather, I work quite closely with my workplace supervisors. Of course, they gave me a lot of helping hand and guidance in term of accessing all the information I needed. Actually, all the staffs in this organization are kind and helpful. And, honestly, this organization employs all the beautiful ladies and handsome men. If you feel bored, just grab one of them, she/he would be willing to talk to you. Of course, I don't dare to do so. Anyway, I feel very thankful to all the staffs there although I don't talk to majority of them.
